| The Digital Finishing System from Allen Datagraph is a completely self-contained digital label finishing machine. The DFS laminates, digitally die cuts, slits, weeds and re-rolls finished goods.
The digital die cutting performed
by the DFS eliminates the need for expensive steel rule dies,
and also eliminates the inventory problems of stocking dies.
It also enables the user to produce any custom label shape
imaginable by using industry standard design software.
Allen's exclusive SmartMark
TM electro-optical target acquisition system will
scan up to 3 registration marks and accurately adjust for
scale and/or skew.
The Smartmark TM system eliminates the need for manual bomb sighting. The registration marks used by the system are independent of the RIP or cutting software. The Smartmark TM sensor need only be placed near the registration mark by use of the DFS Remote Joystick, and the system does the rest.
Four individually adjustable
web tension drives allow the user to set the tension of the
laminate, laminate waste take-up, weed waste take-up, and
finished goods take up.
Fully adjustable slitting station allows label stock to be cut into individual rolls of finished goods, ready for shipment to your customer.
The DFS also has a standard vinyl
cutter mode, to allow economical cutting of blank labels,
vinyl lettering or graphics. |
